Q. Cat is urinating and pooping in places other than his litter box

Answered By

A. It sounds as though they cat may be stressed out. Try placing litter boxes near the areas he eliminates. Also, if you recently switched litters, that could be a cause or if there has been any change in his life. You might experiment with a basic fine grain unscented litter. You can also try Feliway plug in diffuser and pet rescue remedy added to his drinking water. Prior to all of those things, take to vet first to rule out health issues before determining if it is behavioral or health related.
