Q. Hi Petcoach, I am curious what is a good all natural food? What should be the first ingredient? So much information on the web I just don't know.

A. Ideally, meat will be the first ingredient. We also recommend a raw diet if at all possible. We offer frozen, dehydrated and freeze dried raw options. There is a lot of information out there! Here is an article from our Holistic Healthcare Library that gives a good overview of what you need to know: http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/knowledgebase/knowledgebasedetail.aspx?articleid=4

A. Home made diets aren't the best thing for your dog you are much better getting a proper dog food that is nutritionally balanced for your dog so it will get everything it needs without putting on weight. We find that dogs eating a proper good quality food have better general good health compared to those that don't. Blue buffalo, wellness, natural balance are all good. Check out the range in Petco, it is the much healthier choice for your pet.
