Q. My dog has arthritis and is in pain can I give him any human pain relief as my vet is closed today

Answered By

A. You can use Paracetamol as 10 mg per Kg of body weight. For example if your dog weights 25 Kg you can use half a tablet of 500 mg Paracetamol tablet twice a day (every 12 h). Rest him and provide cycles of warm and cold alternate on the painful joints (you can use a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel and a bottle of water for warmth)
