Q. My 7 pd Morkie was given a very small bit of a outer crust of a garlic bread. My mother in law was unaware of the toxicity! I am freaking out....

A. Garlic, Onion and Chocolate are the 3 of the most common human ingredients potentially toxic for dogs. Garlic bread is normally made with bread and garlic powder. I don't really think is concentrate enough to cause any trouble to your dog but the best thing to do is as soon as you can go to your vets and ask for a haemogram blood test to see if that garlic is causing any anemia.
