Q. What can be causing my dog's eyelid to become red and irritated..??

Answered By

A. The main disease affecting dog's eyelids are Conjuctivitis/Blefaritis. If is just one eye can be caused by an insect sting/cornial ulcer/entropion but if is affecting both eyes usually is an eye infection. Is your dog bothered about the eye? Do you feel is in pain? Closing the eye? scratching the eye? Without examinated the dog is just a guess if in a few hours is not getting better go to your vet for a proper examination.
