Q. Can sodium chloride ointment for humans be used on dogs with conjunctivitis?

Answered By

A. It will not help your dog' s conjunctivitis though. If it' s conjunctivitis and there is an infection going on, there should be a different from usual ocular discharge ( greenish-yellow) in this case you need an antibiotic ouintment. If the conjunctivitis is allergic, you will need an ant inflammatory ointment. Best to see your vet to get the appropriate treatment.
