Q. My 1 yr old cat has pleural effusion (heart related), they did xrays n got the fluid out but vet told us to put him to sleep, Can he make it with meds

A. Sadly I think your vet has advised you the best thing to do, young cats with heart conditions don' t do well on medications. If you wish to have a second opinion you should take him to see a cardiologist. He might have some previous experiences that could guide your decision too.
