Q. My dog keeps throwing up water and food and when she tries to poop blood droplets come out. Does she need to go to the emergency room???

Answered By

A. Yes, I would suggest that you take her to an emergency clinic and have her checked over. It could be that she is just suffering from some form of gastro-enteritis but it could also be that she has an obstruction in her digestive system that is causing the vomiting and only passing small droplets of blood. Gastro-enteritis itself can also be life threatening if prolonged or if too severe.
