Q. I have a kitten maybe 5-6 weeks old. He has a rattling noise in his chest. How do I know if its just a cold or something more?

Answered By

A. It' s really hard to say without a full examination. Sometimes it can start as a cold and then become a chest infection, because the kitten immune system is not a strong as the one of an adult . I would advise to have the kitten checked over. In the meantime make sure that he is eating and drinking and clean his nose if he has nasal discharge.
