Q. My 6 year old Japanese Bobtail will throw up sometimes before she poops. She is on a special diet for constipation, which she likes, but I am worried

A. I would also recommend adding some fiber to her food, just plain bran, a couple of tablespoons per meal and perhaps dilute the food with water as it is important to be well hydrated to be able to pass regular motions.

A. you have to ask yourself what is she throwing up? is it food? stomach juices? or maybe hairballs? if it's food she might have a gastro intestinal disease or maybe she eats too fast, if it's hairballs she might need a special food supplement to avoid them.
