Q. I have an 11 yr old chihuahua with a heart murmur and fluid on his lungs. He takes lasix and enalyapril which usually works until now. What can I do?

Answered By

A. If he has been stable on the medications , there is hope that he can be stabilised again . He might need to have the lasix dosage increased or other medications for his heart/diuretics added .I would recommend that you call your vet as soon as possible to make an appointment to have him checked over.
