Q. How do I stop my dog from jumping on people when they come into contact on our walk?

Answered By

A. Look up the "Nothing in Life is Free" training program guidelines. Work with your dog on general obedience, particularly sit-stay. When you see a stranger approaching, put your dog into a sit and reward him for staying. If the stranger seems friendly to your dog, give the stranger a treat and ask him to give your dog the sit command and then give te dog the treat if he obeys. Good luck!
