Q. I dont know why my Chihuahua has been very clingy and always wants to be with someone and when I walk away she starts to cry. What Does That Mean?

A. It sounds like she is suffering from separation anxiety. You can get calming medications, diffusers and collars to ease anxiety. Try by starting to leave her for very short periods to start with just a minute or two into another room and then come back. If she whines then ignore this behaviour, do not pay her any attention at all. If she doesn't whine and then you come back in and she is acting normally or ignoring you then reward her with a treat or a quick game. Only reward the behaviour you want, ignore the behaviour you want to stop.
