A. It's difficult from this description to say if it is something that needs investigation or not. Laboured breathing is not a good thing and is usually an emergency situation but it depends upon the actual circumstances. If it is only at rest it may just be an abnormality in sleeping. If it is when active too it may be wise to mention it to the vet when you are next there.
