Q. My dog has a deep cut on her hind leg exposing flesh and muscle. I have cleaned and bandaged the wound. Can I give her Tylenol?

Answered By

A. No as this has a very narrow toxic range and shouldn't be given without examination to ensure the dog is fit and well generally as it could cause organ problems. If your dog has a deep wound it needs veterinary treatment to be sutured and to get appropriate animal pain relief and antibiotics. Contact your local vet or emergency vet.
