Q. My dog Bella just got spaded and she is hyper after five days . Should I be concerned and what shall I do to keep her calm ..

Answered By

A. Ideally she should still be kept as calm as possible for 10-14 days after surgery as there is still a risk that she may split some of her sutures. You can exercise her a bit but on the leash only, don't let her run. Take her out several times a day to stimulate her. You can also try a Kong type toy with some food or Kong paste in to keep her occupied.
