Q. Hello,
My 6# Chihuahua ate (ONE) 57 mg Previcox that I was trying to give my Pug.
Is she in danger of over dose.
If not, what can be expected today?

Answered By

A. If it has occurred in the last 2 hours then it is advisable to get to your vet immediately to induce vomiting. If not it is double the dose, it should be ok, but there is a potential for kidney or liver problems. It is worth going to your vet or emergency vet and possibly having 24 hours on iv fluids.
