Q. My dog blessing has itchy skin my vet said she has allergies what to do ?

Answered By

A. Ideally you need to find out what she is allergic to. The best way to do this is with special blood tests, they are sent to an external Lab and can take a couple of weeks. But they test all sorts of foods, grasses, pollens, dust etc and you will then be able to work around that. This is the best way but also the most expensive. Another way is food trials but if it is something in the environment ratger than the food causing the problem this won't work. Your vet can give you medications to relieve the itching in the meantime.
