Q. Diarrhea in 11 wks old puppy. No new food, nothing new introduced, what should I do?

Answered By

A. Puppies often get diarrhea for various reasons, infection, eating all sorts of things that don't agree. If it is extremely watery, been going on for a couple of days or any other symptoms such as vomiting or lethargy then you should see your vet as soon as possible as young animals can go downhill very quickly and easily become dehydrated. If it is just a couple of loose stools and otherwise all ok. Ensure wormed and vaccinated if so you can try a pro biotic paste from your pet store.
