Q. My dog is diabetic but she threw up all her food after her insulin injection. I do not want her to go into shock but she won't eat. Help please.

A. Try tempting her with some chicken and if you have anyway if checking her blood glucose levels at home then do that. Otherwise monitor her and any signs of lethargy contact your emergency vet. When it comes to her next dose don't give it unless she us eating. If she is not eating by the time the next dose is due contact your vet as they suggest to reduce the dose.
