Q. I have a friend who's dog has a really bad skin condition. His skin is dark and peeling. They are afraid to take it to the vet and get in trouble.

Answered By

A. They really should take it to the vet as it may be something that can be sorted quickly. The vet is only interested in making sure the dog is treated correctly and is not suffering. The longer they leave it the worse it will get and then it will be a welfare issue. If they are worried why don't you take it for them on their behalf.
