Q. I think my dog has lyme disease, can you help?

Answered By

A. What makes you think that? Lyme disease is spread by deer ticks. Have you been using a good tick prevention such as frontline or revolution? It can take 2-5 months to show signs after the bite.
Clinical signs are decreased appetite, swollen joints, lethargy, fever, lameness sometimes vomiting.
If you think your dog has Lyme disease take it to your vet for diagnosis and treatment.
