Q. My dog has loss of balance his back legs have become weak and he constantly seems to be dizzy and even sometimes falls over, any idea what it could be

Answered By

A. If it is sudden onset it may be a toxicity and in which case needs to see a vet immediately. If it has been going on for a period of time it may be that he has vestibular disease. It occurs after an episode which is similar to a stroke in humans. See your vet to have a check up to see if there is anything they can offer to help him.
