Q. Two dogs currently stay in the basement. We have evidence of radon levels above 4pci in the basement. What is long term exposure for them?

Answered By

A. Although there's no hard research to prove it, it is strongly thought that radon overexposure can cause respiratory problems and have carcinogenic effects. Obviously remove them from the basement and get the problem sorted as it is not an ideal environment for humans either. If you notice anything such as coughing, lethargy then contact your vet.
