My family went to, and trusted, this clinic for many years so when I was in need of a good vet I looked everywhere near my home (an hour away from Worthington) but didn't find anybody I trusted that wasn't also trying to rip us off. We now make the drive because it is well worth it. We have gone through everything from vaccines and spay to fighting cancer with Dr. Love and Dr. Worthington and have NEVER left their clinic unsatisfied with our experiences. We have not worked directly with Dr. Smith, but he has given us a second opinion on a fragmented coronoid proccess and we were thankful that he was able to use his orthopedic experience to help us. It is a very clean and comfortable clinic that almost feels like a home. One of the things that I love the most about their office is that it doesn't have doors on both sides of the exam rooms. I have been to vets who won't give a vaccine in or clip toe nails in front of me and they always scurry off through that "other door". At Worthington they will not hide from you as the owner. You will know what is being done with your pet and how he/she is being handled. This means a lot to me! They understand when you have financial problems and try to work with you even if it is as simple as less expensive medicine alternatives. They are compasionate and actually remember you and your pet. When we lost our girl to Cancer last year they called a few times just to talk and see if they could help with anything (even though we lost her at a different, emergency, clinic. ) I could go on and on... but if you are looking for a vet in the area... JUST GO CHECK THEM OUT! It will be worth your time!

    Pros

    Friendly, Clean, Understanding, Knowledgeable... etc...

    Cons

They need to relocate to be closer to me LOL. NO CONS!!!

I went to this vet for the first time on Tuesday (switched from another vet who was just looking for things to charge me for).\r\n\r\nDr. Worthington was recommended by a great woman I met on Craigslist. I actually saw Dr. Love, though, as Jack was in surgery in the mornings. Dr. Love was caring and professional, gentle and looking to do what was necessary. \r\n\r\nI like the fact that she has a humble demeanor and didn't assume (like some other vets) that the client can afford unnecessary 'just in case' procedures just to get extra $. Kudos on integrity!! \r\n\r\nLooking forward to someday meeting Jack. Really enjoyed working with Dr. Love and the desk help was courteous, friendly and genuine.\r\n\r\nI am very pleased! WOuld definitely recommend this vet.

    Pros

have integrity, are professional, great bedside manner, clean, fair prices

    Cons

    don't know of any

I use to take my pets to Worthington and I was always pleased with the way they handled my dogs. I do think they care about what is going on and if they were not so far from Fort Collins I would still be going there.\nThey are pretty close to the Orchard shopping center in Loveland.

    Pros

    they care

    Cons

To far away from Fort Collins
