Our Nikki came from Wayside Waifs, Inc seven years ago. They were very patient with us, and we appreciated that they let us take our time. We went back a few times to "be sure".\r\n\r\nWe were impressed with the application process and that adoption of a pet was treated as a commitment not to be taken lightly. They asked for references, too! \r\n\r\nAfter deciding on some possible choices, we were allowed to spend time getting to know our potential family member, she was temperment tested, and given a preliminary exam. \r\n\r\nAnimals must be spayed/neutered prior to going home with their new families. Micro-chipping is also part of the fee, as were the initial shots. \r\n\r\nThe fee was a nominal contribution to the shelter for all the services we received in order to bring our youngest fur-child home. The staff was great and did their best to help us make the right choice for us.

What a wonderful place although they are always full so many animals to take care of all the time. they always take the time to play with the animals and socialize them they are a no kill shelter. I adopted my cat there. she is wonderful was dumped off due to a birth defect in her front paws but she gets around just fine am very happy to have gotten her.
