Before seeing this review here on Zootoo, I didn't know of The Cat Hospital of Auburn (MA). Thank you! \n\nBut I would like to comment on a nearby animal hospital that saved my cat's life, in Woburn, MA: Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital (MVRH).\n\nI had a severe, life or death emergency with my cat 3 years ago. I was told by a local vet \n(real-bad-news-vet) that I could take her to Angell Memorial in Boston. However, that was a long drive from the North Shore. Also suggested was the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, Ma. I was there within 20 minutes and I swear my cat lost it a few times...I had to shake her while driving, to revive her. \n\nI got to the ER of the MVRH animal hospital @ 7PM and the ER vet said it was best to euthanize her. She had a lung infection that was mostly fatal. I was in shock. I could not do it...yet. I asked if she could be treated until morning, to see how she did. However, I would not let her suffer. By morning, she was improved, hanging in, but still in critical condition. \n\nI brought Kitty home in 1 week, with more recovery at home. All subsequent vets said it is a miracle that Kitty lived through this lung infection. They are truly amazed!\n\nMVRH is the best, as far as I am concerned. The staff is so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. And the vet my Kitty had, Dr. Phillips, the best (!)...and a true, caring angel.\n\nPeople with their animals are sent there from all over MA, NH...and maybe further...I only have met with and talked to people from these states.\n\nI have complete faith in MVRH. And so does Kitty, now age 20 years and so very healthy.\n\n\n

I did not know of Auburn Cat Hospital. I am commenting on nearby MVRH

I moved an hour away and I still drive to take my cats there. They are wonderful and specialize in cats which I like.\r\n\r\nThey let me adopt a cat for free (with all shots, neutering etc) because one of my guys died with them 7 months before.

    kind and knowledgeable

    run behind schedule
