I was left two cats on my property who immediately adopted me, and too much later found out they were of the opposite sex. I was on limited income, and felt that I could not afford to care for them, but wanted to get them cared for, and find them good homes. I took them and their kittens to Stray Haven, they helped me get them spayed and neutered, and update their shots. They were very helpful in giving me advice in caring for them and finding them a good home. I was afraid to leave them at a shelter because I became attached to them, and did not want them to be euthanized. One women was there to find some cats for a long term care facility, so she took them all, and I would be able to visit them anytime I wanted. Five years later, and they are doing good.
