  • 1. We love Doggy Day Camp

    by: kapailio

We have been bringing our dogs to Doggy Day Camp for 2 years. They love it there. My one dog, Bogie, knows when we're drawing near in the mornings and begins his "happy dance" in the back of the car. They can't wait to get out and start to play. The play area is huge and really gives the dogs a workout. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. I feel secure leaving my dogs here, knowing that they are going to have the time of their lives.

    Pros

Staff loves your dog(s) as their own

    Cons

    None

  • 2. Obedience Training

    by: DoctorT

I am very pleased with the caliber of obedience training. I like their approach to training. I know the trainers love their dogs and woud never suggest or do any action which would ever be harmful to your pet. Each instructor has been very personable and I have come to respect each one as a valuable asset to the community. I drive 45 minutes to class and it is worth the trip. Classes are enjoyable and are never dull. The instructures to an excellant job of mixing training exercises to insure the classes are not boring. I strongly recommend using this training facility.

    Pros

    by: oneminimomto4

Although I don't have a dog that can participate in doggy daycare I do work in the shelter and can attest to the fact that the dogs LOVE going to camp. When I pull in the parking lot some of the campers are getting out of their cars and those dogs are happy to be going to socialize with their buddies. The staff are very knowledgeable and the dogs love them. They are always out playing with proper supervision in the large fenced field and are truly enjoying themselves.Lots of balls and play going on!Happy dogs in a happy environment!

  • 5. Very good day care

    by: jgk2002

St. Hubert's day care is a great way for your dog to spend his alone time instead of chewing the couch or barking at the neighbors. He can get all that pent up energy out and run like mad around the fields. It is also very reasonably priced. I recommend this to everyone who wants to know what to do with their dog or dogs while they can't be home.

    Pros

good staff, plenty of outdoor space

    Cons

    none

  • 9. Doggie Day Camp Observer

    by: doggx1895

I live down the road from St. Huberts and always drive by and see the dogs outside for doggie day care. They are always running around playing with each other or some toys and interacting with the staff. When I go to St. Huberts to volunteer you hear the staff playing with the dogs, preventing any possibly fights, and showering the animals with affection. In the mornings it is a mad dash for dogs to get out of the car and into Doggie Day Care!

    Pros

    great attitude towards animals

    Cons

    can be pricey

  • 12. Great Outdoor Facility

    by: bsgirl

With a makeover, this would be the absolutely perfect place. Unfortunately, they do not have the funding right now to expand upon their indoor facility, so I hear. But, if they did, top notch all the way. The outdoor area is fabulous, with lots of different fields for the dogs to run in.

    Pros

I love the fact that the dogs can run in large fields

    Cons

They could use a larger indoor facility

  • 13. Great Care

  • 20. We LOVE Doggy Day Camp!

    by: Captainswoman

When we adopted our White German Shepherd, Captain, he had mild separation anxiety and low self-esteem. He was extremely submissive and refused to go into a crate. The staff at Doggy Day Camp helped transform him into the self-confident and extremely happy dog he is today! The staff treats every pooch as if he/she is their own. It's like pre-school for dogs, but they get along much better than children would!\r\nHe is one of their most avid "campers" and has made dozens of dog friends over the past three years.\r\nI cannot say enough good things about St. Hubert's Doggy Day Camp. I tried several other places but none comes close to St. Hubert's! The only thing that could improve the quality of the camp would be for them to have an indoor facility to use on rainy, inclement days.\r\nIf they win the makeover they may be able to do this and enhance the camp experience even more for our four legged companions and best friends!

    Pros

Experienced well-trained staff that LOVES and Understands dogs and their behavior

    Cons

I can't afford to send him more often & no indoor facility for inclement weather days

  • 21. Your Dog Might Enjoy Socializing

    by: rfrandall

The staff at this facility is very knowledgable, and has alot of interaction with the dogs, all day long. They do not offer alot of fancy frills like dog spas do, but they do give the dogs plenty of exercise and attention. I recommend the service to anyone that has a dog which must stay home alone, all day long. Do Fido a favor ! Take him or her to Doggy Day Camp !

    Pros

    knowledgable staff,open daily,easy to find,reasonable fees

    Cons

    none

  • 26. Great Place for the Dogs

    by: Maddiemoney

This dog camp is run by a staff who goes out of their way to make sure the dogs are safe and happy. They are outside a lot of the day and have two fields they take turns playing in. June has been attending since she was a puppy and looks forward to playing with her canine friends and is exhausted when the day is over. It's good socialization, exercise and plain old fun.

    Pros

    Great fun for the dogs

    Cons

  • 27. DDC Rocks

    by: norap

Doggy Day Camp is a fun environment with lots of personal attention for each canine camper. It gives dogs with busy "parents" a chance to get out and romp with friends and burn off energy before a relaxing nap in the great outdoors. Camp Manager Becky and her staff treat the campers like their own and even do unique "take home" projects with the dog for special occasions. Full and half-days sessions five days a week offer good choices for all owners.

    Pros

Dogs have never had more fun

    Cons

Extremely bad weather will mean sessions cancelled

  • 28. Rompin' Fun!

    by: drambuie

If you are looking for a place to allow your dog to burn off a little energy during the day, then St. Hubert's Doggy Day Camp is the place.\r\nThe manager, Becky, and her staff are wonderful to their campers and are always providing good supervised care. Dogs are split in to play groups to avoid squabbles and given ample opportunities to burn off energy.\r\nThe limited space does not allow for indoor play, but there is plenty of outdoor areas for dogs to be dogs. Check it out!

    Pros

great price, great staff, supervised play groups

    Cons

can get a little money, limited indoor space
