  • 1. It's good for an emergency.

I took my cockatiel, Mickey, here last year when he fell from his bar and slammed his chest on a bar. I was in hysterics, so I took him there since it was 7 PM at night and that was the ONLY place that was open. Supposedly, when I got there, my cockatiel had stopped breathing, though he was fine on the car ride there. I wanted him to try and be rescued and keep his heart beating, but it didn't work. I had to pay 89 for a visit and another 30 for them to try and get his heart back started. The nice thing was that I got a card apologizing for his death, but I was still sad. I tried taking my sisters' dog here and they refused to make payment plans, no matter how serious her condition was. They only care if you have the money...if you don't, then it's not really an emergency. Not everyone can pull 500+++ dollars out of their pocket. I know I can't.

    Pros

It's the only place that's open 24 hours.

    Cons

They only care if you have the money to pay for it.

  • 3. Great Surgeon

    by: BetsyThorson

Dr. Boswell did crutiate ligament surgery on my dog. She is wonderful. She made me feel comfortable with the surgery. Answered all my questions and took all my calls with additional questions. My neighbors dog needed the same surgery and he was charged 25 percent more at his regular vet. Pricewise I would definitely say they are reasonable for this surgery.\r\n\r\nThe office staff has been helpful every time I have called for emergencies. In general I am thankful to have a place I feel comfortable taking my pets in an emergency

    Pros

they see more so they know more

This clinic is the only 24hr. emergency pet clinic in the area, and because of that, they rob you and the front desk. If you think your pet will survive until morning, wait until then to visit your regular vet, otherwise be prepared for a vet bill that is nearly as pricey as taking yourself to the ER.
