I love taking my american bulldog and mut here. Daisy gets the puppy cut from the groomers and zazie gets bathed by us. It is easy and quick.

    Pros

    Very Convenient Grooming and Self-Washing

    Cons

    NO cons

  • 2. Daisy loves Shakers

I like that I can wash my own dogs there. One of my dogs is too anxious to go to groomers alone and it is really helpful to take her to a place that will get her clean and not mess up my house. My other dog loves shakers and we take her there to get the puppy cut in the summer.

    Pros

    Good at giving Puppy Cuts

    Cons

    none

I have always had a great experience at Shakers but I know my sister's dog had a bad experience. He came home with a big scratch on his nose. This is why I said the pros and cons are that dogs are not caged. Dogs can be unpredictable some times and this is the risk you take by not kenneling the dogs. The staff is very friendly though and my dog always seems pretty comfortable going there. The prices are very reasonable and they do a good job. I would recommend taking your dog there, as long as they are even tempered.

    Pros

    Animals are not caged

    Cons

    Animals are not caged

I haven't been to Shakers Bath House in a while, but am getting ready to bring a few of my four -legged friends in for a DIY bath! From what I remember, they have all the necessities - great smelling shampoo, conditioner, brushes, towels, etc, This is way better then washing your dog with a hose (mine won't let me) or trying to do the bathtub thing.\r\n\r\nAll the mess stays at Shakers, which is then promptly cleaned up. I haven't checked their prices lately, but I think they are pretty reasonably priced. \r\n\r\nIf you're in St. Louis County, they are definitely worth a try.

    Pros

They help you lift your dog in the tub

    Cons

    Don't Remember Any
