  • 1. Sandy Creek Dog Parks (A wonderful place to go!)

    by: Mirado

Sandy Creek Park has many activities for you, your dog, and your family. If you have a horse, you can take them on the Buck eye horse trail. They have boat rentals, campgrounds, playgrounds for the little kids, a lake and three dog park. The first dog park is where anyone can get in, but the other two are reservation only. When you reserve a dog park, they will give you a water bowl and a key. It is a two acre field that you will have all to yourself, and I suggest bringing some chairs or a blanket to sit on. You might also want to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. It is fenced in so no need to worry about your dog wandering off. I recommend this for those that want some time for them and their dog to enjoy some fresh air and wide open plains for a good outdoor experience. Make sure to bring sunscreen, because there are only a few trees except the ones surrounding the field. I had a very good time there, and I think you will too.

Many things to do, including three dog parks, campgrounds, horse riding trail, and many more.

Most places require your dog to be leashed, and you cannot take them on the beach at all.
