My fiance, our friend, and I are new to the area and just got puppies. First thing on our list was to get our rescue pups checked out. We wanted somewhere nearby, since we didn't know our way around too well, and also in case of an emergency with the pups. \r\n\r\nRickords is about 3 miles from our house, which is in a new and developing area. I found the website online and put in my information for an appointment. Dr. Rickords called me back the next day. We got them in quickly for an appointment and were able to take both pups in at one time (no need to make two separate appointments -- altho' that may change as they get more clients?). \r\n\r\nHe was very good and gentle with the pups, yet thorough. Super friendly and answered every single one of our questions -- and as new dog owners we had a LOT. \r\n\r\nAbout a week after our appointment I discovered my girl had tapeworms. They didn't have the dewormer in stock yet, but Dr. Rickords stopped by their sister clinic and picked some up so we could get her treated sooner.\r\n\r\nSo far in my dealings with Dr. Rickords and his staff, I have found them to be super friendly, great with the pets, but still figuring things out, which is to be expected with a brand new clinic. I trust his expertise and plan to continue taking my puppy there.
