    Dr. Shukla is a caring and knowledgeable veternarian who clearly is interested in the welfare of his patients. The doc. charges reasonable fees and is always concerned about the financial impact your pet care may have on us personally.\r\n\r\nDr. Shukla has been very reasonable in with charges without compromising proper and professional care.\r\n\r\nHis staff is friendly and are clearly animal lovers.\r\n\r\nThe facilities are outdated and can use modernizing. He has done some upgrading recently that has made some improvement in the appearance. The waiting area is small, so you can't get a big separation if you pet is reactive to other pets.

  • 2. Reasonable Rates

    Dr. Shukala is a very caring vet, we have been going to him since since we adopted our first dog over five years ago. We haven't had much contact with the other vets there since we always request Dr. Shukala. The office staff is very friendly and the rates are very reasonable. \r\n\r\nOn the downside, the facilities could use some sprucing up. The waiting room is small which can be a problem if it's crowded with other dogs and your dog is not in the best of moods. Otherwise, if you are looking for good basic vet care with very reasonable rates this is a place to try.

  • 3. Small facility but friendly and caring staff!

    Overall a good office. The staff is very nice and very helpful with taking questions over the phone. When one of my kittens pulled some of her stitches out after her spaying, the receptionist was very patient in answering my questions and penciled me in for a quick visit that very afternoon. The doctors are nice as well, though maybe not quite as warm as the desk staff, but they are thorough. There is also a great handler/vet assistant on staff who is a bit of a cat whisperer ... he was able to calm even my most growly, scratchy cat down for her rabies vaccination.\n\nThe office itself is very small - 2 patient rooms, a small surgical and boarding area in back, and a rather tiny waiting area. That is one downside in that the animals can be waiting right on top of each other when it's very busy. But there's always Animal Planet on the TV to keep them distracted! :)\n\nI've been going here for a year now and plan to continue to do so in the future.

    Caring, friendly desk staff and doctors ... wonderful handler on staff to gently restrain nudgy animals.

    Cons

    Very small facility with tiny waiting room ... animals can be waiting very close to each other sometimes.
