  • 1. Interesting place, but not a dog park

    by: JimDog

The park service says dogs are welcome in some parts of the park, but be sure to keep them on a leash and clean up after them. Oh, and don't let them chase the wildlife. See http://www.nps.gov/petr/planyourvisit/pets.htm

    Pros

On the list of must-do around Albuquerque

    Cons

Dogs not allowed in some areas

  • 2. In general, no dogs in National monuments

    by: Keeyush

National Parks are beautiful places where the dog would have a good time- if they were allowed. There are a few very large, not serviced, hardly visited parks in Alaska that allow dogs, but most only allow them on roads & campgrounds. Monuments sometimes allow dogs in the areas surrounding the monument, but there usually aren't trails there anyway.

    Pros

    interesting

    Cons

nothing for a dog to do
