  • 1. My Dog Likes Going Here

    by: candy7806

I take my husky here because it's too hard to bathe her myself. They usually do a thorough job and the shampoo smell lasts at least a month (she is an indoor dog but we make frequent trips to the park). Their prices are reasonable--$16 for a bath--it's worth it for my dog. If you request it, you can get a nail trimming, ear cleaning and anal sac expression at no extra cost. My husky doesn't seem to mind going there and seems happy when she leaves. She always has a cute, festive bandana when she leaves! :)\r\n\r\nI will say that I took another dog there a couple times for a grooming and a bath and requested an anal sac expression but don't think they did it. At a vet visit shortly there after, the vet told me that her anal sacs were so bad they were almost infected and she had to express them herself.\r\n\r\nThe facility is relatively new and is kept up well. The lobby area is always clean and inviting. They also sell treats, food, toys, collars, harnesses, leashes, brushes, Frontline, etc. for cats and dogs. It's a little pricey but it seems to be high quality stuff.\r\n\r\nThey do have boarding and doggy day care. I've never used either of these. I think they will give you a tour if you want to board or do doggy day care but they won't let you in the back if you use their grooming services. I still use them for the convenience and because none of my dogs have seemed traumatized after going there.\r\n

    Pros

    clean facility, friendly staff

    Cons

don't always get what you ask for
