    by: MelyssaBaker

My grandama gave them to the shelter and i want to see if they were adopted. Angel was the cutest chiwawa and corgie mix. she is a blonde dog. she is a cuddler. and rocco was blonde pitt mix, he was a little nurotic and had some issues. he had whit markings on his tummy and was skinny for a pitt. please contact me at 925.339.3095 or email me at [email protected] I just hope they found a good home. if not i will be glad to take them off your hands.

  • 3. A Great Place

This is a new clean and spacious facility with a no kill policy. With that in mind, they need a lot of help to feed these animals. Their in need of food and cat litter. I help as much as I can every month. These little critters are worth it! It's a very friendly and inviting place. Go check it out!!

This is a no kill facility

I adopted one of my cats here. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. From my personal experience, I highly recommend this facility.

The Northwest SPCA moved into a new facility that is super nice. The cat room is really clean and the cats have big cages to rest in. There's a staff room upstairs and the people are super nice. Last year the North Valley Animal Disaster Group set up their evacuation shelter at this shelter and I was so impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, the nice outside pens (for sheep and goats too!) and how clean everything was! Great place.

lovely place, great staff, nice animals

This was one of the cleanest shelters I have been to. Most of the staff was friendly. The adoption fees are very low considering what you get for it. We adopted two puppies, a male and a female. They got all their first shots, heart worm, and flea control. They also get spayed/ neutered at the shelter by a vet from out of the area. The only complaint I had was that our female puppy had a reaction to the sutures they had used. She had a huge lump on her belly. When we took her to our vet, they said it was a reaction due to using cheap sutures and she had to go on antibiotics. It also wasn't the first dog from that shelter they had seen have a reaction to the sutures. We ended up spending an extra $150 for an emergency visit, antibiotics, etc. If that is the case, I would much rather pay extra in adoption fees and have them use good suture material. Other than that, it was a nice shelter.

    Clean, low cost

    Maybe too low cost

i adopted two of my cats from this SPCA and they have turned out to be great. They never had a single health problem and they came with a microchip, testing, updated shots, free vet exam and food. The only thing i had to do was pay for their spay/neutering and they were mine! I encourage people to adopt from this spca as they are a highkill shelter and i think they put animals to sleep if they are there for too long or if they run out of space :(

    very clean, healthy animals

    high kill
