    by: shege1976

Well I went there to pick up my dying dog, (04/06/09) 7:30am Monday morn. After he had been there all night. Keep in mind I had already paid them for the services that they had rendered to my pet and I also had already excepted the fact that he was not going to make it. They would not release him to me, So I could take him home/another vet. I had to wait while they did nothing, I finally got him @ 9:15am, during this time I was told that I had a $40.00 balance, I said no I don't I have already paid you, Well long story short, I got threatened and banded from ever taking any of my animals there again. They would not even let me speak to the vet that admitted him the day before. I told them that I would make another trip up here to speak with him and the FINACIAL MANAGER!!! said if I did she would have me arrested.... Well that is my review (BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS)!!

    Pros

    CHEAP!!That is about it...

    Cons

All of the office staff is very hateful ....

Without the help of Dr. Schmunk we could not do as much for our rescue animals. We drive almost 1 hour for his expert help. Thank you to all of the staff !!!

    Cons

    Nothing

  • 3. A great, reasonably priced veterinary clinic and hospital

    by: ecfmusic

This clinic is on old US Highway 52 just south of Welcome, NC. We drive approximately 15 miles and past several other vet's offices to go there. Their prices are very reasonable (especially compared to other veterinarians) and the doctors are very friendly and knowldedgeable. They have recently moved to a new facility (believe it or not, a converted restaurant building) which is spacious and clean, with plenty of parking. It's well worth the drive from Winston-Salem and the occasional wait.

    Pros

Low cost, friendly doctors and staff, appointments not necessary

    Cons

Occasional long waits due to first come/first served policy
