I have had the good fortune to be the beneficiary of the Spay Station, [or as my grandkids call it, the Neuter Scooter] the mobile neutering service for low income area residents. \r\n\r\nThis organization does a mammoth job, for little thanks. \r\n\r\nIf I ever hit the lottery, ya'll get half.

They opened a low spay, neuter clinic, run a spay station that goes to several counties around TN. Spay/Neuter pit bulls for free and run a Spay/Neuter program for Feral and free roaming cats. \r\n

  • 4. Knowledgeable Staff + Healthy Animals = A Wonderful Place

    by: jenrik

We adopted Ruby yesterday! The place was extremely clean, there were no fecies left in the cages/kennels and the air even had a sanitary note to it! Ruby's done great so far adjusting to our home (just like the shelter workers predicted). We were looking for a dog to complete our family so I had lots of questions and when the staff couldn't answer one, she called the lady who had turned Ruby over to the shelter. Apparently Ruby was left behind a woman's business so she kept Ruby in her home a couple weeks hoping her owner's would come looking for her. I'm not sure why her previous owners abandoned her but she's GREAT pet! She already knows the command "sit" so we'll be ahead of the game when we go for our free obedience training at PetSmart. She's housebroke and doesn't whine at night. Ruby weighs in around 30 pounds and that was a bit larger than I was looking for but, I probably woundn't have chose Ruby if the shelter worker hadn't gone the extra mile by getting answer's to all my questions! They indeed have the best interest of the animal and potential owners at heart!

Very Clean, Knowledgeable Staff, Healthy Animals, Free Obedience Traning at PetSmart

They need a bigger place to offer a variety of services to our community!
