  • 1. Also love them!

    by: FNM

Took our Lab here for the first time. I found the vet (we had the male, sorry forgot his name!) very insightful, knew his stuff and gave a lot of good advise. Our doggy was a little scared and the assistant held him closely during the check up and stroked him and kept him calm which I liked. There was a good of good advise on shots/meds etc and I didn't find them pushing treatments that weren't needed. They offer a website that has a blog discussing all sorts in addition to offering petmeds on that site where you can pick them up / get free shipping that's neat. Great placement / location for us, will make this our vet of choice for good :)

  • 2. Best place to take your animal!

    by: kcook13

i am so picky about vets because i had a golden who was not even staged with his mass cell cancer and the vet just gave up on him. we found a new one and he lived for 2 more years. anyways, i was extremely nervous moving to a new area and taking my brand new rescue puppy to a vet. i am so glad i came to them. my puppy and i have seen both doctors in the practice and they are both wonderful. they are so knowledgeable, caring, and are willing to answer any stupid question i may have without getting frustrated. the staff in this practice is one in a million. they all are great. place is always neat and clean and i know my puppy is in great hands and will get the best care there. if you are not happy with your current vet or are looking for a new one, then i would highly recommend them!

  • 3. Best in town

    by: Bambarini

I asked a lot of people what vet in town they recommend and all of them said this one. Although they are fairly new, they sure have a great reputation already and it is well deserved. My dog was a bit shy around them but the vet and assistant were very patient and gentle with him. They answered all my questions as a first time dog owner- so i had a lot. They also send reminder cards when his shots/check up are due which is a big hep! love it love it love it!!

The N.f. Animal Hospital is the animal hospital that that we use for our shelter. Even though they are small they do a great big job. All of us at the animal shelter appreciate all the help that they give our shelter. I would definitely recommend them to any pet owner.

  • 7. Good place

    by: Ralph1

This hospital was recommended to me from NFSAW. I found them to be a small but well equipped. It is a one on one place, did not try to sell me products or services I didn't need. Their prices were very good, I only wish they were open evenings.

    Pros

Very one to one service, knowledgeable, reasonable rates

    Cons

    hours open

  • 8. Nice, small practice

    by: nfsaw

NFAH cares for our shelter animals. We have had a great experience working with them. Being a small practice the vets can keep one another up to date on each case so we never feel lost in the shuffle as you might at a large practice. They are more than willing to talk with us on the phone and answer any questions. We give all of our adopters a free exam certificate there and many have told me how they were very impressed and planned to continue going there.

    Pros

    competent vets, great location

  • 9. great vet!

    by: amgfnyc

NFAH is the vet for our animal shelter. They have an excellent understanding of the concept of "shelter medicine". They are also the personal vets for many of our volunteers, staff, and Board members. The facility is beautiful, new, bright, and clean. The vets are warm and go out of their way for their clients, often making house calls to our shelter and to clients' homes. I recommend them highly!

    Pros

    warm personable veterinarians

  • 10. Great practice

    by: sherri1019

We recently switched to NFAH and we have been more than pleased. We lost one of our dogs to cancer in September and the doctors could not have been more sympathetic or compassionate. Our pets receive top notch care at reasonable prices. The office is very clean and pleasant and the entire staff is very accomodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area who is looking for a vet.

    Pros

Nice small practice, lots of attention given to each client
