  • 1. Best Dog Park in Houston

    by: hareynolds

This dog park is huge and one of the highest rated dog parks in the country. My dog and I make the 50-mile trek about once per week to enjoy the ponds and the company of other dogs. I wouldn't want to swim in the ponds, but my dog loves them and the park features a dog wash for anyone wanting to rinse off their dog. Several comments mention that it's too crowded, but I haven't found that to be the case. More dogs makes the park more interesting.

Plenty of room for dogs to play

It's a long drive to get there

  • 2. Houston Dog parks

    by: csanders

I remember when they opened this park, it was great. Now I feel like it has too much traffic and gets really crowded on the weekends. I take my dogs to other parks that are less crowded and have less aggressive dogs. There are 3 dog parks about equi-distance from my home. Still Millie Bush park is the cornerstone for getting dog parks off the ground and MY DOGS LOVE THEM.

    great for socialization and exercise

    too crowded

  • 3. Park after Ike

    by: Bachw57

Our son introduced us to dog park. We have been going to Millie Bush park for months now. The park is well kept. After Ike came through, Harris County had sent crews out to clear the debris, fixed up minor damages to the "pavillion".\r\nThis is a wonderful place for dogs to learn to behave socially with other dogs. There are 3 ponds where dogs can swim, retrieve toys, or just be dogs.\r\nMost folks who take the time to bring their dogs to dog parks are very responsible. They take good care of the dogs and have control of their animals. They are very friendly.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Small dogs have their own side

    Not much negative

This is the best dog park I've ever been to. It has two ponds for swimming with treated water so you don't have to worry about your dogs swimming in it. It is really big and has lots of room for the dogs to run and play. If I still lived in Houston me and the dogs would be here all the time

Two treated ponds for the dogs to swim in

Little yippy dogs ruining everyone's fun

  • 5. Pretty Park!

    by: ughhitschristina

I drive by the park many times and have noticed the beauty of it. Although I never actually used the park myself because I don't own a dog, it looks really presentable and enjoyable for the pets and the humans alike. I see a lot of people participating in different activities a long with their best friends (their dogs). The park has great landscape and it is located in the middle of many other parks that associate with sports and other activities. Try it out! It's worth it.

  • 6. BIke trail is so much fun!

    by: syingling

Near Millie Bush Dog Park is the Hike and Bike trail. Lots of fun and miles of trails to walk with your dog. PJ and Pup had a great time! Clean too.

    Nice walk

  • 7. Great place to take your dog!

    by: ml4rmpr

Okay, this dog park is absolutely fabulous! I take my Lab here and there he is making friends with other dogs while splashing around in the little lake there for the dogs while just having fun. It makes every experience there memorable and I would recommend anyone to take their dog here!

Little lake for dogs, plenty of roaming around

none that I can think of at the moment
