  • 1. Very caring

    by: CMacM

My husband and I had a rough start to 2008. We lost both of our senior golden retrievers to cancer. Both were happy and "healthy" up until the very end. Our first one started with some distress here at home and we rushed her to Metropolitan late in the evening where we got the bad news she had a tumor that had ruptured near her heart and we had not choice other than to put her down. She went very peacefully and with us in the room. Our second died at home in the middle of the night and we took her to Metropolitan for their assistance with cremation. Both times were heart-wrenching, but the staff at Metropolitan made very emotional times a little easier for us.

    Pros

Open all hours and caring, knowledgeable staff

    Cons

A little more expensive...but well worth it.
