My dogs love the large area for running laps, but now that it's getting warmer, they will not be visiting Logan Gate Dog Park for a long time. There are ZERO trees. There is a small bus stop type bench with an overhang for the pet owners, but what about the poor dogs overheating from play in the hot Florida sun?
It is set very far back in a subdivision that has only one way in/out, which could be part of the reason it seems to be underutilized. Each time we have been there, we have seen no more than two dogs in each section at a time.
So this park doesn't have much on our backyard except the distance for sprinting. It's a shame because we hear the Lutz park is fantastic.
