    by: SwampRat

We are blessed here in the Amite Area with several VERY capable Vets. Or should I say, "our pets are blessed" by the same.\r\n\r\nI've used numerous different vets at different times for different reasons. Glenn Hutchinson is one I return to with confidence.\r\n\r\nIf you're new to the area, you'd be wise to schedule an appointment with Glenn to discuss the care of your pets. When you're dealing with something as important as your pet's health, it isn't wise to "toss a coin".\r\n\r\nYou will be comfortable with Glenn.

    by: SweetieKisses

The Hutch\r\n\r\nThe “hutch” holds and protects your most treasured dishes and tableware. \r\n\r\nOur friend Glen Hutchinson is like that. He is a vet whom you can trust - confident that he AND his Staff will give their absolute best in the care of your treasured pets. They are driven by their love of animals.\r\n\r\nRecently, when hurricane Gustav visited, we saw Glen often. He would frequently just show up where we were staying with our longtime friend, our new friends and our “trusty canines”. On any given day, you could read the stories of the long and trying days in his eyes, but that ready smile always re-assured us that regardless of the personal toll of caring for his many patients, he was Good To Geaux !! He practices veterinary medicine with total dedication.\r\n\r\nRecently at election time, he stopped by our local Registrar’s Office to vote early and was asked if he had his “picture I.D.” with him. He said, “Sure! I’m away on calls so much lately that my wife requires me to show it in order to get through the door!” Were it possible to set aside his good nature, he could say that seriously and without exaggeration.\r\n\r\nI’ve never inquired as to his “favorite” area of Veterinary Medicine. From observation, I truly don’t believe Glenn would admit to a “favorite”. Saving possibly which veterinary school to attend, it’s not like he had much control over his career options. For Glen, being a “Vet” is more a calling than a choice.
