  • 1. Very helpful staff

I went here to adopt a dog and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about their dogs and the dogs' personalities. I didn't end up adopting a dog, but I would definately come here again if my circumstances change and I could adopt one.

    Pros

    Very helpful staff

    Cons

    none

  • 2. Good Shelter

    by: jcass43

I've been to this shelter a couple of times and found it to be pretty good. It is clean, and the staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. The only thing negative for me is the location.

    Pros

Clean, very nice staff and volunteers

    Cons

    location

  • 3. Great Staff!

We just adopted our precious 3 yr old Dachshund Mix from this no-kill shelter. The staff was very knowledgeable and matched us to this sweetheart that otherwise we may have passed over.

    Pros

Friendly & Helpful Staff, No Kill Shelter, Large Dog Runs

    Cons

    Could use remodeling

  • 4. In my view, the best cat and dog shelter

    by: wysterya

This shelter gained No Kill status last year. I volunteer there 3 to 4 days a week and am part of a wonderful team. Memi the Volunteer Coordinator is great with everyone she comes in contact with. Carla is a super Head Office Administrator. Recently our Director left, and Alice, the Head Veterinary Technician is both doing her demanding job of being the surgery tech for the spay/neuter clinic twice a week, and doing the duties of the Director. Jessica is a wonderful, caring tech, and Judy, the new vet tech is skilled and knowledgeable. I give three cheers to all the hardworking staff and volunteers at this shelter.

    Pros

Individual cat rooms for multiple cats, large dog runs

    Cons

The facility needs a makeover, esp. the office building
