H.P. Thomas Park is a great place for dogs and their people! Lots of room for them to run and interact with other dogs, a nice 6' chain-link fence around the whole dog area to keep them in and safe, double security gates at the entrance so they cannot slip out while another dog is coming in. I wish more people knew about this place.

lots of room for dogs to safely run

  • 5. Bowling Green has a new dog park!!

    by: IResQK9sNKy

This dog park is 17.75 acres surrounded be a 6' chain-link fence. There is a large dog area and a small dog area. Both have double-gated areas to make sure no dogs escape when new dogs are entering the areas. Very clean facility, pick-up bags are provided for your dog .... the dogs and owners alike all seem to be having a really good time here at this park. New-comers seem a little unsure of what to do, but seem to behave very well once they're all off-leash and monitored. This is a great place to spend some quality time with your dog!\n\nFrom Scottsville Rd., take Campbell Lane to Smallhouse Road, turn left onto Smallhouse Road then take a right into the Shawnee Acres subdivision. Debbie Drive is the fifth street on the left, turn left onto Debbie and this road dead-ends into the dog park.

This is a really nice park and a great place to let your dog socialize with other dogs.

The location is a bit odd, but it's easy to find with simple directions.
