    by: taylor1907

I have never actually been to this shelter, but I am in a moms group that does charity events and one of the organizations many moms always want to support in this shelter. To me that says that this place has to be awesome! Thank you for all your guys, and gals hard work!

    people love it!

  • 2. Adopted Cat from this Shelter in 2007

    by: Flamemajic

I adopted a kitten from this shelter last year, and she has been an incredible addition to our family! Saigon (formerly known as 'Tanzy') is a full grown 16 month old cat now, enjoying life here with her best friend and fellow cat Tobias.\r\n\r\nDuring the adoption process, I was impressed by the conditions the animal were kept in, their sociability and temperaments. These people raise and adopt out some truly wonderful companions.

Wonderful animals for adoption, clean & pleasant shelter

Shelter location is somewhat hard to find/get to

We have been fortunate to be able to donate items to hope animal shelter. The director of Hope was very kind. The dogs and cats living quarters were extremly roomy and comfy. Hope made the dogs and cats very comfortable with beds and toys as they would have in a home. The animals looked to be in good health and well cared for. I was very impressed. way to go hope.\r\n

    animals had roomy confinements

  • 4. HOPE Animal Shelter: They really... actually... CARE!

    by: waxesglad

I've been fortunate enough to volunteer for these fine folks, and I loved every moment--even though Miko peed on me a total of three times (twice in one day!); I figured he was just "claiming" me because he liked me and appreciated the special attention I gave him. ;) Anyway, HOPE has a vibe of wholehearted goodness and kindness that cannot be denied, and it is reflected in the demeanor of the pets given homes there. Everyone there, newbie volunteers and longtime founders, is knowledgeable about pet care, but what makes the place pop is the fact that in addition to that, they are very helpful and cheerful about it. You can tell that they WANT to be there, WANT to be doing what they're doing, and that is an excellent (RARE?) thing to see/feel in a shelter. In contrast, I have dealt with OTHER animal shelters (to remain nameless) that left me wondering how they ever get anything done--and if they really CARE about getting anything done at all. For the benefit of the animals. From the evidence presented, it seemed like they could care less, and that left a bad taste in my mouth. Well, not this place. HOPE Animal Shelter is the best. I love love love them.

Pets are content & well treated, people genuinely caring

Just sort of tucked away... Wish more people knew of them
