I bought a puppy from Honey's and I was so worried about all the hype you hear about pet stores. The first thing I would like to say is this is NOT a traditional pet shop. The pups are not ones that are from a broker or puppy mill, but hand pick by the store owner from various local breeders. I was given a congenital health guarantee with the terms that I have the puppy vet checked within 3 buisiness days. I was very worried that I would spend my money (over $1000.00) on a puppy and then have to lose him/her due to some infectious bug like parvo, since I read a review that stated something along those lines on another website. I was determined to buy my pup and take her to the vet without even stopping home, and that is what I did. I bought my puppy and then we were set to the vets office. The vet staff informed me that my new puppy was exceptionally healthy and had been very well taken care of. She was no less than perfect, according to the vet himself. I was still worried that possibly my pup would become sick over the following days but I was happily surprised. I bought a very happy and healthy puppy, that is akc registered which you almost never get from a pet shop. AKC is the best registration your dog can have. I was also given the actual breeders contact info, to verify anything I might need to. \r\n\r\nOkay now to the con part. The only single thing that I did not like about Honey's was the fact that I had driven nearly 200 miles to see my pup, which the owner's new since I called them several times to inquire about the pup, and after I had been there less than 10 minutes they asked me to make a decision because someone else was on thier way to view the same dog. Now it seemed like that was just thier ploy to get me to buy quickly. I did feel a little bit rushed, but it was my decision to buy her. I could have taken the chance to see if anyone else really showed up to see her, but if I did, they might purchase her before me. So I gave them the money, they gave me vaccination records, her akc papers, and a collar and leash. They told me to always call if I have any questions. \r\n\r\nI would recommend going to honeys. My dog is great!
