A great job to the people at Harnett Animal Control. THey have a very hard job but they make the most of it. When I had a stray ferrel cat that could not be tamed they did not make me feel bad. They save as many as they can but they are realistic in knowing they cannot save them all. They are well balanced.

The lady who works here is very nice on the phone. I wish we had a no-kill shelter in Harnett County so the animals who do not get adopted can find a loving home!

    Staff is very nice

I have recently went there and got a dog. My daughter named him Lucky she felt he was Lucky to go to a good home. Also the staff was very good. We were able to save a life with a happy and wondeful staff. It's to bad that because of the lack of space they have that they are forced to put animals down.

    good services

This shelter is very good. The staff genuinely care for these animals. Unfortunately they are small.

There are SO SO SO many pets each week in need of loving homes!! Harnett county shelter is forced to put down every Wednesday, due to overcrowding.\n\nThe adoption fee is only $20, and the staff is very helpful!!\n\nThere is also a WONDERFUL group of volunteers who try to save these animals every week. They will help with transportation and vaccinations for foster homes.\n\nPLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTING or FOSTERING FROM HARNETT COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER!!

great pets, great adoption fees, wonderful volunteers
