  • 1. A Fantastic Vet!

    by: asseenontv

Dr. Ghurt is amazing, and works closely with the shelter and humane society to provide excellent care for homeless animals awaiting adoption. He always attempts to comfort the animal during its visit, and to keep you informed of what is going on and why. Very knowledgeable about small animals as well.

Extensive knowledge, great personality, cares about the animals.

  • 2. Honest Vet!

Dr. Guhrt is great, his office staff are always the friendliest and really take their time with you, as for once you get in the room for your pet to be seen I always feel a bit rushed. But other than that he's great, my cats when to him when they were just little guys and one of my cats had a horrible reaction to the vaccines, after so many different tries, he recommended that perhaps my cat should not receive vaccines and for him to be indoor only. Which of course my kitties are already indoor only so that was no problem and I repected his honesty, because at that point I wasn't sure what to do. Vaccinating was the thing to do, but I did not want my cat to get sick everytime. :)

    Great staff

    little rushed

I have 3 dogs and 5 cats and Dr G has been my vet for several years. He is a great vet and is fantastic with my animals, I would hate to ever have to use a different office!

Dr. Ghurt has volunteered at the Animal Service Center. He helps out by doing spay and neuter surgeries on animals before they are adopted.
